ALF pretty much reeks of its decade, which is probably why it was cancelled in early 1990. It's by no means the first show to revolve around such a concept; in fact, stylistically I remember it being very similar to "Bigfoot & the Hendersons". Unfathomably though, ALF was somehow more lovable than Bigfoot, enough to spawn merchandise like cuddly toys, amongst other things. Must've been the charm of the show itself, rather than the looks of its furry star! Even as an adult, there are few things more entertaining than a guy in a costume cracking wise. The humour was never vulgar, but often funny, a balance that many shows in this format often fail to strike. Better it had a brief but successful run rather than drag itself out embarrassingly past its sell-by-date. ALF was very much a product of his time, and that perhaps is why I remember him so fondly. They allow me to keep only one cat and two hamsters. The cat’s name is Barsik and the hamsters’ names are Nicky and Rich. Nicky is a girl and Rich is a boy. They are very cute. Barsik doesn’t seem to like them much, so I try to keep them in separate rooms. I know that English people like pets too. Most of them live in detached houses far from the noise of the cities. That’s why they can afford having two, three and more pets. I have a pen friend from Chesterfield. Her name is Ann. In a recent letter to me she wrote that they have six pets: two dogs, three cats and a rabbit. I think she is one lucky girl! When I ask my mum to buy a dog, she says that she doesn’t want to turn our flat into the zoo. From one hand, I understand her. All pets need proper care, lots of effort and attention. Героини катаются на Mustang Shelby GT500, что отсылает, опять же, к американским боевикам эпохи 80-х и 70-х годов, а если быть конкретнее, то к фильму БРАТЬЯ БЛЮЗ 80-го года, которым Кэньити Сонода - автор манги, сильно вдохновлялся.Но несмотря на то, что сие чудо имеет прямое отношение к бумажному первоисточнику, история тут самостоятельна и цельна, не отвлекающая внимание левыми сюжетными линиями, флешбеками, а главное - имеющая логичный финал.В этом аниме прекрасно все, потому что сделано оно очень круто и с большой любовью. Единственное, что может расстроить - хронометраж. Всего три эпизода по 20 с хвостиком минут. Оружейнецы буквально кричат: " Дайте нам полноценный сериал!!!!", но увы... От того, немного досадно, ведь не часто в мире японской анимации можно увидеть женскую версию СМЕРТЕЛЬНОГО ОРУЖИЯ.Смотрите и отбросьте все предрассудки о феминизме. Во-первых - это 90-е, Детка!!! А во-вторых - Япония. И каким бы западным продукт не казался, сексуализировать женщин здесь никто не боится. Да, в главных ролях - крутые девахи, способные надрать зад, 100 процентов, но вы их полюбите, я гарантирую.Раз уж заикнулся, то грех не вспомнить о Бешенном Быке.
